Biography
Dr. Firas Abdulmajeed is a board-certified physician with over 20 years of clinical experience spanning Internal Medicine, Neurocritical Care, and critical care medicine. At Rayhana Esthetics, he personally performs every consultation and treatment — ensuring physician-led care and the highest standards of safety for every patient.
His training in Internal Medicine, Neurocritical Care, and critical care medicine gave him a deep knowledge of neuromuscular anatomy that is rare in the medical aesthetics space. He approaches every injection as a physician — assessing muscle anatomy, nerve distributions, and tissue planes before any treatment is administered.
Dr. Abdulmajeed earned his medical degree from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine in 2002. His early career included providing medical care to underserved and displaced populations across the Middle East and Europe — formative experiences that shaped a deeply patient-centered approach to medicine.
After relocating to the United States, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Canton Medical Education Foundation (Ohio) and a Neurocritical Care fellowship at the University of Virginia. He subsequently joined the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC, where he continues to serve in academic and clinical leadership as an Associate Professor and fellowship program director.
He is nationally recognized for his contributions to medical education and has trained physicians, fellows, and residents across multiple levels of care. His teaching excellence has been honored through multiple Faculty of the Year awards.
Dr. Abdulmajeed founded Rayhana Esthetics on a singular principle: that the quality of aesthetic care is determined by the physician behind the needle. Every patient receives his personal attention, anatomical assessment, and clinical judgment — from the first consultation through post-treatment follow-up.
